Actually it's a real person. (With an account for cashing checks) Her name is Ana Maria Corona Espinosa, by the way. Accidentally meaning "crown of thorns": we used to tell her she should have a candle shrine.

Yes I've been thinking of doing some bull-running, but got enough of that screwing around with Hollywood.

I used your pun in a novel: MC is talking to a lapdancer at a cornonation of Carnival queens. She's pissed because these less hot, less talented twits are up there and she's not. Why can' she get a sash and corona?
MC says, "Waiter, a Corona for the lady."

makes sense, anyway!... if, that is, the career you're pursuing is one where writing what you write would be frowned on... but i don't see that you'll have much of a future in that one, unless you're a dead shot and very lucky, to boot!

I don't see what would make sense about it. Why would writing on the side be affected by your business career? Unless you're writing porn or something.

On the other hand...why not? Lots of people use pen names just on a whim. Donald Westlake wrote a series very different from his usual work under the name Richard Stark. I know a scifi writer who didn't want his academic colleagues to know he was writing galloping galaxies stories. (Probably more like not know that he was writing on time he was being paid to be a prof)
