There are also various necromancers, thaumaturgists, and shamans who haven't come up much thus far.
My trouble is, I've also mentioned sorcerers, who I'm fairly certain will play a pretty big part in my second book. The thing is... I don't know what kind of powers they hould have, because I want each class of magic user to have different powers.
If anyone has any suggestions or tips on this, I'd be much obliged.

Can I ask you a personal favor?
Please dispense with the D&D magic. I doubt anyone will take your work seriously if you have spells, powers, elementals, planes, and spheres like they do in every fantasy game since the 1970's. Also there is no difference between a mage, a sorceror, or a wizard except in the role playing game universe.
This kind of magic has been done to death, buried, exhumed, put on trial, beheaded, burned, reburied, plowed under, mulched, and used to fertilize a field of opium poppies.
Which isn't to say you shouldn't do magic. Just please please please do it differently. Go to the library and read up on real magical traditions, then maybe put your own twist on it. Could be interesting!
Edit:
I just noticed you mentioned character classes. I'm going to go pull out all my back teeth with a nutcracker.

I won't change my magic; it's far too late. I assure you, it's not "D&D magic". I can't explain it here without it seeming so, however.
I know about real traditional magic; I used to make a study of it. Most of the magic in my world is inspired by Wicca and older pagan traditions.
I hope you have fun pulling your teeth out.

Wicca is less than fifty years old. Carry on though, don't mind me.

...I know. I said "Wicca and older pagan traditions". Meaning Wicca influenced my magic along with other, older magic.

from what i can see the magic users you currently have seem to mostly use magic that has a connection to something earthly about them (mages-elements, wizards-mind) though its a bit priest like you could have there powers come from god's demons or other dentitys/spirites.
another idea might be that they gain there power from the life energy around them (animals, plants, people) they could gain more power from the more life around them.
a magic user who gains his powers from relics enchanted items and artifacts.
if they worship a god of light then maby there powers should be intwined with that
chanting
or even have them as a magic user thats able to use more than one type of magic, like a scholer/master of magic.

Uh, maybe you should research more about magic (and variants of it) worldwide?
Or you could just make up your own system of magic. For my own story I developed a system with magic divided into types, each with it's own rules and restrictions, as well as aids and general rules that can't be broken.

What about light magic, or holy magic? I'm not a big fantasy/magic guy, but I think that would be pretty cool.

The sorcerors could control daemons. Or they could be shape shifters.
