Truth-Teller is an unknown quantity at this point
This might be in the wrong thread.

I write everywhere and anywhere. I write while I'm doing chores and helping out my parents. I write in my head and form outlines, even before I began to type on my keyboard.

My desk is in my room; usually I've got a fan going (or my boyfriend snoring) in the background. I never play music when I'm editing or have writer's block. I only play it when I'm beginning a new piece. Other than that, whenever I'm out, I'm constantly looking around, narrarating the scenes before me in my head. If someone says something, in my mind I'll add, "he said" or "she inquired", plus I'll "type" out in my head and with my hands what they're doing. It's made for very twitchy fingers. Point is, I write every moment of every day.

Ok, so I'm not crazy. Whenever I go into our freight elevator at work and push the buttons, in my head I always think something like, "She stabbed at the illuminted numbers on the steel wall." I always have to make it more exciting than it actually is.

On my break I'll go to a restaurant or a fast food place and I just sit there and stare at people and be writing away in my notebook making up a whole life story for them. I know I'm a freak.

Anywho when I'm not being a freak in public I usually write in my room on my laptop with some kind of music playing on my MP3 player.

Surely, that should be in between chores Truthteller? I can just picture you for example carrying shopping in both hands and writing at the same time. Shouldn't that also be: I think of ideas in my head and form outlines then write?

Sorry, what you originally wrote is giving me a rather funny image. Actually nah, I'm not sorry.

You could of course just post your own sodding writing here if you're such a genius and can make the best story ever. That would shut everyone up whose on your case.

PS: Apologies for the off-topic but getting a bit tired of him. Last post on it, just wanted to jab a bit of fun at him.

Edit: Ooh I think I've spotted something else that is wrong! I thought of ideas in my head and formed outlines before I even began to type? Come on, for someone calling everyone else's stories absolute crap and I mean everyones (not just that, insulting as well) in every thread you've posted in practically, you can surely do better than those two sentences you wrote!

I know a lot of people can't stand loud, distracting music when they write. For me, it is QUITE the contrary. I like to sing when I write; it helps me keep my mind off of it and stops me from having random ADD moments...haha.
But yeah, I mostly write on my computer, which, sadly, is in the living room next to the TV...

I write in my room as well, usually, on the computer (quite conveniant). I sometimes have music when I write, and sometimes I don't, although, when I do, it's surely instrumental. Songs with lyrics do get me off track, I'm afraid

I tend to write in the kitchen on a laptop. Probably an odd place but I don't have the distractions of the television etc., plus there is room to have books on the table for me to skim through when writing.

I can't listen to music with words when I write. Only instrumental stuff. But, it can't be just anything.
As far as where I like to write... I enjoy writing in one of the local libraries or a bookstore. I also write at work and in my room at home. Variety of places to write keeps me stimulated.

S!

Sometimes I write in the dining room during the day. Usually turn the tv to a music channel and keep it low as background noise.
I mostly write at night, when my daughter's asleep, then I go to the bedroom where it's quiet (well, usually. the PS2 is in there as well)

I usually write my stories on my laptop, with the headphones in, and with the music turned down really low, so I can think of an idea.
