Write everywhere

I write in my dining room turned office. It is central to the rest of the house so it ables me to watch over dinner if its cooking. I write at work when I am relieving the receptionist or when the mood strikes. When the mood strikes I can write an article in less than an hour and it is usually quite good. I keep a notepad and pen beside my bed because I think up some great stuff when I am entering the presleep faze.

I write in my room, which is my office. I have to have some type of music going, where it be old time rock and roll or soundtrack albums. If I don't, I draw blanks.

I typically write in my room, in bed. I hate writing at a desk. However, sometimes I write in the living room, outside, in the bathroom. I've gotten into the habit of keeping a section of my school notebook for writing, because I'm usually writing in every class..and I usually carry a little notebook around with me, in case I need to write wherever I am. (If I don't have a notebook and I want to jot down an idea, I'll put it into my cell phone.) So I guess the answer is..everywhere?

This, but with the music turned up once I'm writing. It's not uncommon to lock onto one or two songs, and repeat them dozens of times while writing in a half hour burst.

I write best when I'm watching an action film or game, because it puts the words in my head. I've come up with some good battles from watching films for inspiration.

I've been jotting down my ideas at work for the past 2 weeks or so. Sometimes if I can get some quiet time in my house to take a hot bath, I'll think of something there. Is that odd? (Something about a nice warm bath helps me think. Or read.)

I tend to write on my bed, laptop on lap, piano music turned on, except for on rainy days, then I sit on my window seat and write while I listen and watch the rain. If it's nice, I take the laptop outside to the deck to write.

Writing on the computer is fastest for me... sometimes I'll have music on, especially if I'm working on character lists or sketching ideas. (and that's usually instrumental music)

Sometimes I like taking my handy binder notebook around and like to write outdoors... until a nice gust of wind comes up and blows away my pages. grr.
