Drugs don't replace talent, but they can aid the expression of it, and some writers choose to take advantage of this (though I don't, any more, on account of the awful shit I have written after smoking dope; though I have written some alright stuff about smoking dope, so...). There's nothing wrong with using chemicals to help you write, so long as you keep your use of them under control.

Yeah, vicodin and percacet require prescriptions. My dad gets vicodin, my mom gets percacet. I'd rather get it from my parents than buy it from the homeless guy down the street who also sells crack. And believe me, he's offered.
