Pardon me for being a thicko but does "double spaced" mean tapping twice on the ENTER key?

It seems such an awful waste of paper.

I know, I know; I'm a divvy but nobody has ever explained that to me. Although the font size I understood. Good, eh?

Simply go into it and format paragraph. Set line spacing to double spaced. I assume that's what you wanted.

Someone can correct me if I'm wrong, but it's so editors can read it easier and can highlight changes etc. I think.

that's right, dg... i'm sure whatever system you use has some sort of double-spacing option that will make the whole document come out that way... as david said, ms word makes it easy... you should have a spacing icon on the tool bar, so all you have to do is click on 'edit' when in your document and select 'select all' then click on the double-space icon and it will be done!
