What is the word?

I need a word, which I've heard before, that means something along the lines of 'a particularly dramatic scene or spectacle'. I know I've seen it somewhere before but I can't for the life of me remember it.

Would it be:

commotion, confrontation, exhibition, fit, fuss, performance, row, tantrum, temper tantrum, or upset?

If not, but if one of them is close, go here:

http://thesaurus.reference.com/

and type the word in the search box. It's pretty handy for when you're stuck for a word.

It wasn't one of those that you suggested, but I used the thesaurus and found the one I was looking for.

Tableau: a visually dramatic scene or situation that suddenly arises

Thanks for the help.
