The two find out that their families hate each other, but fall in love anyway. One comes up with an idea to elope by faking an "accident", but the other thinks that it was really a suicide, and ODs on pain-killers to end the grief, prompting the first one to take a scalpel to the wrists.

I think we have a winner. You could call it Ramirez and Julio.

Whenever your plot falls dead, just have something blow up. It works for action flicks.

Wow, guys, those replies totally rock! I have a little while to think about things, but I'll definitely let know how this ends up. You all are much more creative than I could ever be. Keep em coming!

thanks!

I'm suprised you got so many responces. Usually there would be someone (That I won't mention lol) that would say "We can't help you, if you can't be creative and come up with your own ideas, then you are not a writer" responce. Glad you haven't gotten one of those... lol

You're just as creative as anyone else. Just think of other books you've read, movies you've watched, everyday life... that inspires you...

You know what I hate? When a film, book, movie, game has this big twist and you know its coming and then its really dumb. I think there's something to be said about building up a twist. Anyone here see the Prisoner tv show from the 60s? The twist was a LAME ending for an awesome series. Or... the film The Village? How can you get any more stupid than that? Having an actual creative twist that works is hard work.
