Squeezing more pages out of ink cartrige

I found that I can print an entire book's worth of pages using less than one small ink cartridge by changing the text colour to dark grey instead of black.

even simpler and more cost effective than that, is to just select 'draft quality' in your printer's 'preferences'...

and choosing a font that uses the least ink will also make a difference...

Personally, I find the cheapest way is to print my stuff off on the laser printer at work once everyone else has gone home...

I have a laser printer, it's worth it for the speed and print quality, and cost per page is pretty good too.
