Can YOU answer my grammar questions?
I'm writing an essay on some musical called Aida for my Humanities class. In it, I am including the title of a song, the name of the work, and the name of an opera. Do you underline songs, or italicize them? Do you put the musical in quotation marks, or underline it? And what about the opera? Can someone enlighten me?

Songs will have quotation marks, and the opera and the musical will be in italics or underlined. Either choice is fine, but make sure it's consistent throughout your essay.

Short works (short poems, essays, songs) - quotation marks
Long works (books, long poems, operas, etc.) - italics or underline
