don't be silly, of course the 'self' is still present in the work of a ghostwriter!... it's not a mechanical pursuit done by a machine... he/she
writes the books, after all... only the story basis may be from another source... all the art and skill and and experience it takes to write an original work is still needed and used in ghosting a book for someone else...
many highly respected and even revered authors have done a bit of ghosting at one time or another... it's nothing to be ashamed of and nothing less of an 'art' than writing from one's original ideas... in fact, it takes
more talent, not less, when you're having to work someone else's ideas into a marketable form...
