"1) DNA gets blamed for a lot of things it could never do..."

Good point. This is sort of one of those "Radiation poisioning isn't a super power!" things, isn't it? (falling intonation on that last bit).

Yup. It's one of those weird comic-book science things. Somebody should really write the Marvell comics laws of physics...

Sounded like a serious suggestion to me. If you don't want advice, don't ask for it.

Or they could wear special elastcated boiler suits that automatically transform... naked is a better option. It's not like you have to draw pictures.

If you're talking about DNA mutations, is this a future society? If so, you can make futuristic clothing that would solve your problem. Ex. skin tight clothing that matches the size of the wearer (one-size really does fit all). Only problem... you'd have wolves running around in pink leotards. Oy!

Or you could have dress-like clothes that shrink into a collar, so the wolves would run about with a collar, change back and then push a button to have their clothes back.

I understand pants on a wolf being a problem and the more flexible type of clothing suggested by Mike C may be the way to go. I would take a step in the other direction however and suggest low tech solutions. many non-western cultures have much simpler ideas of clothing that still fit the bill for modestly and dealing with the environment (it may get cold going nudie all the time.)

I'm thinking sari, toga, loin cloth, bandanna, etc... I think you could devise a simple, flexible solution that could be removed and tied around the waist or neck prior to transformation. We all know that a dog with a kerchief around its neck is cooler than other dogs; imagine a wolf!

Are these actual wolves, or are they, like, anthropomorphic?

Nick stuff while they're unrecognisable as wolves. Or maul people (Go for the head to keep bloodspatter down) and strip 'em when reverted.

It's not like you can arrest a Wolf for shoplifting...

(God bless Animorphs...)

Kira the wanderer is an unknown quantity at this point
SOme of these comments made me laugh... ok here's some things to clear up the situation:

-It is a society in the future, but at the same time it isn't our world but a world similar... if that makes any sense.

-I hate the rubber clothing that morphs with you, its dumb and cliche.

-And yeah, its pretty much the marvel version of what DNA cant really do. Human engineering blah blah blah, so its a bit of a sci-fi.
