The undead

In my story, I'm writing in the first person as a demon-posessed undead killer.. This, while a cool concept, presents a bit of challenge, as I have no idea in hell (npi) how this type of character would operate..

How do you write from the perspective of a creature who shows no emotion and feels no pain, physical or mental?

I've tried writing in third person, but I can't pull myself into a story that way. I don't like the feeling of simply being a narrator; I'd rather be in on the action, you know?

Any help would be great...

Perad is an unknown quantity at this point
If he has no emotions he wouldn't have hate or anger. So why would he kill undead creatures. Everything has emotions, but if you feel you really can't add any for him then why don't you do a mental struggle between the human and the daemon possessing him. Then at least you can show what the human feels.

Maybe you could have the demon that's possessing him be feuding with his actual self for control? That way, you could still describe the emotions... *shrug*

Or you could just have him have feelings to some extent - maybe have him start developing them throughout the story? It really depends on which way you want the story to go.
