Er, okay. To put it bluntly, most companies want proof that you can program more than story boards. What company is this? Are you sure they're credible?

a good point, suka...

also, zenora, you'd best have someone else do the writing, as your spelling is so poor no one will take you seriously, if you write the synopsis and other sales package material as badly as you did this post... no offense meant, just telling it like it is... if you don't have a partner who can write well, you'll need to have a professional-level editor correct all the goofs...

you also MUST have an attorney who specializes in literary/video properties, to protect your interests in any negotiations with funders and/or buyers... if you don't, you're just cutting your own throat...

the video game market is highly competitive, and you really do have to watch your back, so don't fail to check out anyone who expresses interest in what you have to offer, to be sure they're legit, BEFORE you even talk to them...

it's clear you need to learn the abc's of the business, so google for info on how to sell a video game... that will turn up plenty of advice on how to assemble a story board, what backers/buyers will want/expect, etc....

best of luck with your project...

love and hugs, maia

you can do it like a synopsis of a script... or a treatment, if they want a longer version... just write all that happens to whom/whatever, in narrative form...

looks legit enough, but that doesn't mean they might not take advantage of no-little newbies, so be sure to get yourselves an attorney who specializes in this area, before opening any negotiations, or sending them anything...

good... you can't be too careful... what form is your game in now?... just the cgi stuff on a cd?... even if it's only on your computer and a cd, it's still protected by copyright, but you'd be smart to register your copyright before going any further, if you haven't done that yet... you can do it either with wga, when you have a written version, or at the us copyright office, by submitting the cd...

and i meant 'know-little'... came out as 'no'...
