sites on how to strip a car?

I need to know how to strip cars, vans and SUV's for my book, the vehicles are going to be fitted with explosives for your classic car bomb and yes I know that makes me sound like a complete terrorist and hes Irish, don don don, but no. Do any of you know any sites where I could find out how to strip a car so I can act like my character knows what hes doing e.g. naming the pieces rather then saying " the side bit."

As usual all useful answers receive some kind of pie.

midlandsmuse is an unknown quantity at this point
Virtually every car or van is different. Look around for something called a Haynes manual for the particular model you are using. BRand new they are about £15 but go on Ebay for as little as £1.

Just figure out where you're going to put the bomb and find the name of the part... A good place would be right beside the gas tank. And make sure it has a full tank of gas, too.

Try looking for sites focused rebuilding or restoring cars-- It's the opposite of stripping them, but the same parts and names will apply. There’s got to be many more detailed resources for auto restoration and customization than there will be for demolition.
