freaking yourself out
okay i seem to have a slight problem, i like to write horror, i find it funny that it freaks people out, now the problem is i would be writing somthing and i would get kinda scared, like i woulkd be writing about a killer/stalker in the backgarden that is about to come in and slash someones throat but then i would have to stop because it seems too.......real (for lack of better word) no matter if im in a writing mood i would have to stop because i would be shaking with fear, its only happened latley, and i would normally shake when i write (god knows why) but now its scared shaking, and i get breathless and and have to go to a room with people lots and lots of people. any one know what i could do to help?

lock all the doors? then again theres no exit.... hmmm...
wear garlic, hang a crucafix, never fall asleep, lock all the doors, dont hide in the basement and err.... hire a bodyguard?
what about wiring a camera upso you can see outside, add security lights and a window alarm.

? I thought good horror writers scared people. If it's good enough to scare yourself, that may imply that it's a good story.
Umm... I have no constructive advice to offer.

true i s'pose in a way. but you do still need to feel it to know if its scary or not.
Still suggest a big BIG dog... just incase. unless you're scared he will turn into some sort of creature that has been scorned in a previous life and attack you.

Dog bellies :3 KYUUUUT
Anyway.
I'd offer a better response but this really doesn't warrant much of a response, so I guess I'm just saying, okay, I read your post, it's not going unnoticed.

ilyak said it best:
"A good writer should remain detached"
i'd only change 'should' to 'will'...
you sound pretty young, dude, so i'm sure you'll be able to achieve that requisite detachment with age... till then, i'd advise you to stop writing horror...
why is it that so many teens write the stuff, anyway?... isn't what happens in the real world horrible enough, without adding made up stuff to it?
love and comforting hugs, maia
