Not to say that single-minded focus is bad. It's a hunter's trait. Whether he's stalking his next meal or shopping for power tools, it serves him well.

Those aren't genetic traits, my friend. The brain is just like a muscle—the more you use parts of it, the stronger those parts will be. More neural pathways and connections will form, which means more physical mass as well. Most of our brain's development happens during childhood.
Girls play house and deal with complex relationships. Boys play games with one goal. Now figure out why girls are better at multitasking and why men are better with spacial reasoning.
I'll tell you one thing—I wasn't brought up on sports or activities with one simple goal and my multitasking is excellent.

Aside from a bit of football, I was never into sports either.
I multi-task like an SOB. Right now I'm watching TV, playing Counter-Strike on my desktop, reading 3 different forums and working on a story, oh and smoking a ciggy. =)

There's a lot more cross over when a mind has been taught language and art for men. A male mind that has been steeped in the more artsy side of things will ovbiously be accustomed to using the parts of the brain that initiate multitasking and such.
You cannot debate the different wirings in male and female brains. The facts are proven. We are just different and that is fine.

Is there more "cross over?" Do you have anything to back this up?
I can and will debate the "different wirings" in the male and female brain, because they are non-existant. In adult males and females brain physiology is a bit different. For the reasons I provided earlier. But in baby's brains? Nope. They're the same.
I'm going to start a thread on this—the nature vs. nurture debate is still alive and well, although nearly all scientists agree it's a combination of both and nature is losing ground.

i'm not a fan of erotic fiction. I once read a piece that....went past the line. It made me want to puke. So just keep it, you know, reasonable, for lack of a better term.

[an:9b5466d93a]I decided to write a paragraph of erotica. Some of it has been censored to remain within posting guidelines. Let me know what you think; I tried to keep it kinky.[/an:9b5466d93a]
