I think (if I have to choose just one writing style), I'd rather be a good, improper writer than a good, proper writer. The beauty is that I can write whatever I want whenever I want however I want. Wow, why in the world wouldn't anybody want to enjoy the freedom of writing?? |

i let my freinds go crazy with my grammar and spelling mistakes ,after i correct the ones i want i give it to a freind who writes fiction like me ,he always has good input to give to me =)

I sit on the grammar nazi fence. However, if there's an obvious reason a rule has been broken or if it's just the author's style, then I'll leave it alone.
If it's laziness or just mistake after mistake and there's no obvious reason, I become a grammar nazi. I'm quite happy for friends to go through my work as most of the time it's helpful, and I'll go through others (a couple of friends come to me because they know I'll go through the grammar with a fine tooth comb). Just don't expect me to give much critique in the way of actual plot or content, unless something really stands out.

Wow...I see a few people quoted me.
Not sure I'd really call what I said arrogant, as much as I'd call it...stubborn. (Oh my God. I've become a word Nazi.)
I sympathize with grammar and spelling Nazis because I used to go to a school that was wickedly strict on correct grammar and spelling. I wasn't born this way...I was made this way by years of brainwashing in strong soap...

That kind of sums up how I am, too. 
What I meant to convey was that too many people try to make their writing mainstream, and they end up frying it beyond repair. Sometimes trying to fix something is how it gets broken in the first place...
And thusly, I end my rant.
