got loads more latin and greek links :-P

here's a handy English to Latin dictionary:
http://wredmond.home.texas.net/glossarium.html

and not to forget the English to Ancient Greek dictionary:
http://www.lib.uchicago.edu/efts/Woodhouse/

site with loads of Germanic stuff:
http://www.ling.upenn.edu/~kurisuto/.../aa_texts.html

these are all meant for people with at least a basic knowledge of the ancient languages, but I think you can all find your way around them anyway, hope they're helpful to someone.

I use the Harper Collins Latin Concise Dictionary. It doesn't have all the words I'd like, but it has the essentials.

WOOT! I can't think of the word right now. I'd have to search for it. Like life wasn't meaningless enough.

lol @ Nimbus.
It seems everyone has a specific language they are partial to...maybe I just like Latin because I went to a Catholic school for six years. (Don't get me wrong, I'm not Catholic; Baptist all the way.)

I just guess it was inside me waiting for its chance to come out. Biology really made it show. Plus you can't go wrong with extra point on your English SAT can you?

Yeah...actually, like 50 points of my English SAT score I can say were made because I knew some Latin.

I think that our club's president mentioned it. I even told 8th graders at my old school about it. I've sown seeds!

Now to corrupt them! Wait... They're hormone driven, self rightous 8th graders. They're already corrupt.
