The joys of mental disorders

Okay, I have Tourette's Syndrome and Non Verbal Learning Disorder, which don't really affect my writing that much, but I think I also have ADD, which means I have trouble focusing. So much, in fact, that I can't organize all my ideas into neat little file cabinets so I can put them into stories.

Can someone give me advice on how to focus?

I don't know that much about ADD, but I'm sure there's more to ADD than just having trouble not focusing. If it was just that, I'm sure everyone would have it at some stage or another.

Do you need the neat little file cabinets?

I was just using file cabinets metaphorically. What I meant was that I can't seem to get my thoughts together for a long enough period of time so that I can sort it out in a story arc.

You don't write them down as soon as they come to you? You should, even if they make no sense at the time.
