Cover art

I'm curious of something. Do you guys do your own cover art for your books, dictate it to someone else, or let someone else pic the design and you go with whatever you end up with? I'm more the second one because that's what I've done with my first book. Picked the design and dictated exactly what I wanted it to be to the artist. My second book, (a comic collection for my comic strip) although only a limited print book (I think I'm going to do like 200 copies at most. It's just for friends and some fans who wanted a book) is one where I'm doing my own cover art. Probubly the only book I'm doing my own cover art for, mostly because my skill in art is in words only. hehe.

So, which do you guys prefer to do? And if none of the ones I listed, then what do you do for cover art?
