Nonsensical gibberish wish wash pish posh
hi,
i like to write, i keep telling myself, i read sometimes, i buy a book a week, because i like how the words are put together, i dont care about meaning or plot structure, i just like the design of putting words in certain orders...
um, my thing is, id like to keep writing, and i have fun just making stuff up and on the edge like anybody.
what if, i wrote a whole novel on the fly? i dont care how it comes out, just as long as i have fun doing it. i mean, id like it, because its witty and unusual and pretty. but if you can get a simple story theme out of it, then thats all i care about i guess. i mean, it would be saturated with words describing anything and everything, but it would follow a story or sorts...
a writer is someone who puts words together to form a sentence, over and over. it doesnt say anything about making sense, does it!
no, gentle tear drop man, er, woman
think i should write a jibber jabber novel? or am i being too obtuse
yeah, what i do is write whatever pops into my head, i dont think about what it means, i do that when i read it afterwards, i have dabbled in all sorts of artforms, writing is the most easily accessible i think, but the hardest. i guess that means i cant write, but at least i have fun doing it...
um, anyone else write this way? eyes closed and heart pounding? sorry if this is too wacky...

Yep, I write like this too, stream of consciousness-type writing, and it's fun fun fun, but don't get me started because when I get goin there is no turning back, my friend. And I agree about the novel; you should just write about stuff and have fun. Then go back and see what you've written, but wait a couple of weeks...it'll be more entertaining

Sounds like something you could do for that national novel writing month. Of course that was in November though.

That's the spirit. Better yet - don't review it. I have tones of material I've written months ago, never read it. It's not that I don't care if it has meaning of any sort or not, but why go back when you can constantly go forward. Who cares anyway. There are some things I wish to implement into my work, which no reviewing will accomplish, so I think I'll take care of that part first - and the only way to do it is by practicing in a manner you do it.
