Personal copyright issues

Most of the reason I've been hesistant to post any writings or thoughts online are my own rights issues. If I post a short story here, what prevents someone from cutting, pasting, publishing? (Not that my work is worthy of publishing, hehe) I have lots of reservations on it..any advice?

Nothing prevents them from doing it...its the recourse that you have afterwards that matters, so take that into account. As long as you can prove that you posted the material, from your computer, you will be fine. Anything I ever posted online I also printed a copy out and signed it with the date that I posted it.

Overall, I wouldn't worry about it that much anyway. None of us are Stephen King...

True enough, though some of us may aspire to be so prolific. Hehe.

By the way, I am anal-retentive when it comes to spelling. You may want to change Boundries to Boundaries. Noticed it on your site as well.
