Writing and seasons (summer, winter etc.)

Do you find that seasons affect your writing (the writing itself or whether you write and how much)?

Winter is definately my time for writing. I sometimes get to writing mood simply by opening my window and letting fresh-smelling cold air to get in my lungs. Then I would just stare out of the window (preferably when it's dark) and look at the piles of snow. *snap* and I'm off to write! Long walks in the dark snowy paths get my imagination flowing.

If it isn't winter then it better be fall. Just replace "snow" in the previous paragraph with "red and yellow maple leafs" and read it again

Summer isn't for writing, at least I think so. It just isn't. Not that I'd be an out-going summer person with lots of stuff to do. It's just that the whole season feels too "bland" for writing.

Have you noticed any different patterns in your writing according to seasons?

That's very interesting. I find it easy to write in the Spring for some reason.

Although, I have been writing quite a lot lately. It was hard for me to write in the summer... I'm not exactly sure why.
