Eiji Tunsinagi is an unknown quantity at this point
What do you do when......

I'm writing the outline for my novel, and I'm on the second scene. I dont know what soudl happen. I know its something crazy, but what? Hes wandering in the desert and then starts having hallucinations, but I dont know of what? Any ideas? What would you do? Anything, as long as it makes no sense.

Have the hallucinations reveal character: fears, the past, desires etc. It doesn't have to make sense, but it would be a good way to give the reader an idea on who this person is, even if it is abstract and vague. I don't really think it's a good idea to have just a series of pointless, random hallucinations, it'd feel like a waste of space. So make them senseless, but give it a point (reveal character) and it'd work better. Certainly better than "Joe Bloggs was forty five, he had a wife and two kids. His greatest fears were spiders etc etc."

I hope that made sense.

Well thats nice to know, I do have a suggestion, perhaps try your character to explore all sorts of situations. becuase if your out in the desert whats the one person that your going to spend the most time with yourself. so oviusly the character will be doing a lot of thinking about your main story line,<recent events that happened> but its all up to you to find a way to end your conflict
