Chapter titles in a manuscript?

Can you put chaptr titles in a manuscript----and if so, how do you?

Bold, or underlined at the top of the page, centre justified. Leave a few liones between the chapter title and the main text.

It's not rocket science, and there aren't really many defined rules about these sort of things. Someone in another thread said "edit like a reader", and this is pretty good advice. If, as a reader, you can understand what's going on, then you're probably pretty safe.
