guideline for comparative article?

Hi everybody!
I study politics in Australia at the moment and we have to write a comparative article. Our Professor only said that we have to compare 3 articles that all cover the same topic, draw our conclusions and write about 3500 words.
That is a very brief description of the work we have to do. I looked for guidelines for writing a comparative article and could not find any...
Can anyone give me advice on this?

Thx in advance!

Kat is an unknown quantity at this point
Are you supposed to compare the way they write and make thier points or what they actually said?

I would find a central topic, one idea that you could focus on. Use the articles more as sources that as the main point. There is too much info in several articles to write a focused paper on. Find what they have in common. Pick out thier supporting points. Find quotes that would work well. Then use those to support your idea.

I think we should compare both, the content and the way they write. Your suggestion is a good idea thank you!
