For the best use of Point of View in any writing ever, check out Faulkner's "As I Lay Dying." Study the way he uses perception and you'll be able to really understand the advantage of having multiple PoVs. They can be confusing and convuluted if used improperly, however. So just be the judge of your own ability. The novel I'm working on now is told through about a dozen different narraters using first-person perspective, but it fits in with the themes of perception, honesty v. deception, and justification that I'm working with. So, it's up to the author to decide if it's appropriate for their work and if they can pull it off.
