I read something in a writer mag once that even if you don't use an idea for a novel, it is still better to write down what ideas you do have and create a scrap book of ideas.
You never know if you might use that little scrap in a story later on down the road.

That is 1000 down. Now write the next 1000.
And keep going.

If having a title before you write is stopping you. Don't worry about the title.
Just write the first thing that comes to your mind even if it is stupid.
And if stupid don't throw it out, you might actually use the base idea of what you write in something good that you finally do write.
Never give up.

2,631 words so far, but this is just a practice draft. Not even a rough draft, just for practice!
I really like the way things are going so far. I just need to find a better way of ordering my events and conveying character. Still lots of work to do but I'm feeling really excited about this story for the first time in over a year.

77,000 words. Shit, can't quite believe it. All those words. Whether or not they mean anything remains to be seen. Maybe got three or four chapters left.
