    WIFS 28 - October

    Here's a nifty Halloween treat:
    The latest WIFS Newlsetter
is now available at the link below.
It's filled with wonderful content (as usual)
and a couple special seasonal visuals
from yours truly (we love Halloween
    here at Sigmadog World Headquarters).

The cover drew me in, but the contents kept me coming back to read more. Awesome job!

Sig your illustrations blow me away. Are those done in illustrator or on paper, or some combination of both? (I realize the answer could be different for each one, so if you have time, I'd love to know.)

    Thanks for the nice comments.

I used to do all my illustration on paper, but about 10 years ago I transitioned to digital painting. I use a Wacom Cintiq monitor and Corel Painter software.

My method is traditional: initial sketch; block in colors; refine details; add highlights. Just like the olden days of paper and canvas. The only difference is that I'm painting on a monitor.
