I've entered now. Perhaps the thread should have "July Challenge" in the title, so that people will know it's the challenge thread?

    SideTrips Challenge - Dither's Comment

Plasticweld, I sure would love to read that book. Can it still be bought? I wonder. People often say " oh it's too late for me but..." and really, me being in my sixties now I'd say those very same words but, there's always a but isn't there, I would like to read it.
I have ventured into certain similar offerings but nothing ever struck home. I don't think that I could ever adjust or alter my mind-set, having read an article the other day which exposed just about every facet of my very being, I know that I am one very messed up person. Having said that though, I am curious.
If i post a comment on a "WIP", LOOK! I'm a reader that's all, and i can only tell how i feel, as a READER, giving/offering feedback. Hoping to learn and grow here. So please, tell me where i'm going wrong.

Me? I'm just a fly on the wall.

    Look! I'm trying, okay?

One can but dream, if only i had dared.

    Alas, i am weak.

I must find a way to Eastbourne and i so wish that i could dance.

So guys I have some feedback over the title of this month's challenge unfortunately I am unable to change it but this months challenge is entitled Has a book or film ever inspired you? It is the first thread in the list. I hope that this helps and will make sure it is clearer in next months challenge. If you can not find it then let me know and I will send you the link to it.

For you or any one else you can go here and down load it for free http://images.kw.com/docs/2/1/2/2123...58_htwfaip.pdf

There is nothing magical about the book except that it points out the obvious. Deep down we always recognize the truth when we see it. As we become older and we make excuses for what we hear and see often clouding something that as a younger man we would accept.

I have recommend the book often, many times to those here on the forum. Take one small concept of the book, one tiny little suggestion and try it. Use the suggested tactics and see what the result is. It is hard to argue with what works, it can be done one small baby step at a time. It is very empowering to be able to have some control over situations that felt you had none in the past.

Read it a page at time, try one thing, and please send me a pm and let me know how it worked out.... I am sure it will be a great story

Thanks Pip that would be great. Could you please change it to: July's Side trips challenge: Has a book or Film inspired you? Tell us about it...

Can you also change it in the workshop challenge thread for me so that they are easier to find.
