I had one, long ago... lol, i don't know, laziness I guess?

It's not about secrecy or anything, most of the active members on this site know my full name, age, where I live and probably most of my life story haha... Perhaps one of these days I will put an avatar back up, who knows?

Can someone explain to this dummy exactly what this does or what it achieves and how exactly it assists the writing process?

I think the idea is that it could potentially generate some more traffic, by other people seeing this group on individual's facebook pages and being curious enough to check the site out and join.

As for how it assists the writing process, I doubt that it does. But it sure makes me feel better about myself for joining.

Also, I don't think it does any harm.

It provides an additional medium to connect/communicate with likeminded individuals.

Yep, you would be one of them.

Well since I'm the only female so far it's pretty obvious.

AA- got to differentiate yourself from all the other Roberts. Surprised at how many there are for such a small group.
Just noticed your pic is in Walmart. That cracks me up for some odd reason.

Joining that group has encouraged me to go delete all the bad poetry I posted on my facebook about two years ago. *shudder*

I'd been avoiding it because I knew I wouldn't want to see it all again. Hideous.
