I wrote this when I was 15 and I reprint it here, now, unedited for your consideration. Cheers.

Who Owns the Sky?

Who owns the sky?
It’s plain to see.
Who owns the sky?
There’s only one it could be.


The answer is simple
but will you stop to hear?
Will you listen as I tell of the man
who is always here?


Do you know of the man
with the loving embrace?
Have you been cleansed by the fire
of his amazing grace?


So who is this man
who owns the sky?
Who is this man
who chose to die?


This is the man
whom death could not keep.
The one who arose
from a three day sleep.


Jesus is this man,
called the savior of men.
Who hung from a cross
and died for our sin.

Oh well. Nicely put indeed.
Well ryhmed I think, though I am no expert on ryhme and rythym and have been told I'm not good at writing rhyming poetry.
For one of 15 that is very deep.

Thank you kindly. I actually put this up here because I realized that I haunt the fantasy forum, but rarely venture to other parts of the board. I am attempting to branch out and what better way than to put some of my old atrocious poetry up for the world to see. Cheers.

Always hat's off for JC, who had nothing but love for the torturers that killed him. A great example of human consciousness whether or not the myths are true. Regarding the poem I think indeed it's a very good rhyme/rhythm effort for a 15 year old. And as you warned in your disclaimer I did find the content overly holistic, for what otherwise was a great and promising title. None the less thanks very much for sharing.
