Thanks again, Garza. This one looks neater. Is it just me or has the layout changed a bit?

Candid Petunia - The layout has evolved, with many of the differences being rather subtle. My first training in layout was in the mid-fifties at the local newspaper. My ideas were heavily influenced in my association later with a certain big-city slick. On the one hand I cling to ideas learned as a kid, wingdings and underlined overheads. On the other I love the spare 'Absolut' style. Each issue has a mixture of both, and each issue is intended to have a certain 'feel' all its own. The December issue was produced in a period of severe stress that, thankfully, has passed with my having settled into my new digs.

Gumby - Thank you, but I must remind everyone that without the co-operation of WF members and the work of you and the other staff the Newsletter would not be possible.

This is my first time reading the Newsletter. (I didn't even know it existed until a few minutes ago)

I'm enjoying it so far! Great job, and thanks to all who had a part in creating it.

Foxee - Thank you very much. The trick now is to make January a bit better.

Kyle - If you will look on the Home page you will find a link to the Newsletter archive.

Good stuff Garza. I really enjoyed SamW's article How much is too much and the use of "purple" prose.
