    Mobile Format Writing Forum

Writingforums.com has a mobile format now so users can access from Blackberries, iPhones, etc. I've seen this discussed on other writing sites, along with reasons why not We have the software, we have the technology, we have a great technical admin and we are the first to supply this service to our members.

Sounds good to me. Hopefully it'll be a success.

Does the system auto-detect it if you're using a mobile?

It certainly does if you're using an android phone such as iPhone, or if you're using an iPad.

But what if I'm using a PSP? See, I have this slight problem in that the site still loads the same way as it did before in my PSP when the Mobile mode was yet to be implemented (Loading the same way means the appearance of WF on my PSP is like that of in a PC, but of course, its slow loading). Is that normal? Or do I have to input a different URL name? Other forums I go to use the term "lo-fi" or something, and I put this in the URL, something like "writingforums.com/forums/lofi."

Oh, and does WF appear different in mobile than in PC?

Sorry if I have too many questions, I just wanted to browse WF on the go.

WF does appear different in mobile than on PC. If the style doesn't appear automatically on PSP then it can be manually selected from the foot of the page in the left hand corner. You'll see a box there with "vB default style" you can use the arrow to view styles and select the mobile style. this can also be used to view the mobile style on PC.
