What was the problem with the site the past couple days?
What was the problem the past two days? I couldn't sign into this site. And where the hell has my avatar gone? Grrrr.

Jon, there was a problem with the server, I think, but my avatar was gone too. If you want yours back, you just have to do two things:
-go to your user control panel and put the avatar back (that's what I did)
-write a long PM to me
If you don't follow the second condition, your avatar might be lost forever.

My posts have gone mental. I cant seem to post stories in paragraphs. and all this technical Jargon is posted on instead of normal punctuation. If someone doesnt fix it I will summon the devil.

Shhh...Jon, being on staff here I'm not supposed to tell you what happened so keep this under your hat, ok?
The hamsters were on strike.

Use the lost avatar as an opportunity to change. I did.

Oh internet Buddha. Is there anything you can't turn into a excellent, soul-searching perspective?

And what makes you think they're working now Foxee? I hate to sound like Chicken Little but believe me, the sky is still falling - I get in only half the time.

The hamsters developed a love for donuts and lattes. This has not improved their performance.
Seriously, if you're having difficulties post the problems here or PM an admin and report the bug, please.

I think that's what Adrian just did? I personally don't have many difficulties except when the server crashes or the forums get moved. Maybe it's an individual browser problem? Having a troubleshooting category under Site Announcements would be most helpful methinks especially if you assign a particularly savvy internet guru type.

*rubs forehead and sighs*
RH...try clicking on the link where it says 'post problems here'. Its a different thread. And it's in site announcements, I think. I was redirecting him to that thread.
I need coffee.

Foxee dear, I can appreciate your need for coffee. But you do have to understand there are some people who just read a post without ever moving their mouse. And in that case they will never know that the link is not just a few words underlined like this
Sometimes you have to dumb it down.

I don't know what everyone is complaining about. This site is nearly twice as quick now as it ever was.
Foxee - I sympathise with you. I'd would have been going for a huge beverage too.
Sam.
