On its own it's simply a link. But if you do put these things [ img ] [ / img ] without spaces before and after it it will show the photo instead of the link - i.e.
You have to click on the picture until the thumbnail appears on your screen. Then click "copy image location".

Nacreous, now that Sam has bumped my instructions for using the image button, which nobody has told you about, to the former page, please go back a page if you missed my post. It may be clearer to you than typing the tags.

Iconic though it may be, Sam, don't post images you don't own the copyright to. Sorry!

Fair enough.

I had better take that "Supernatural" one down too, hadn't I?
Sam.

Nacreous - apologies if my second response seemed a little harsh. I forget sometimes that everyone is not computer-literate. Hope you get it sorted out.
Sam.

actually I am extrememly impressed and flattered with all of your help on this. I must beg your forgiveness for being such a moron. I am trying what you said so far, but without success. i think that the very last post on the first page of this thread is what I am after, something about a button. I am about to try that now. BTW, does it matter if I have iMac, and not pc?
also, the images I like best are on my computer. I downloaded them already. they are not from the internet. they are in my files of pictures. I just tried that mountain button and it wants a website image. I guess I could try that now. and see how it works. thanks again for the help, folks. right neighborly of ya.
cheers and wish me luck

You're not a moron, Nacreous. Far from it. Foxee will keep you right. If I can help any more, please don't hesitate to ask.
Sam.
