Ah yes, well... I guess I was trying to point out that Rococo was just the kind of excess that sent the French peasantry over the edge and made them start taking heads. I believe it was the last major fashion statement of the French aristocracy.
So that lady's dress and wig are probably buried in separate graves.

Now that the thread has been dragged back to something approximating its original purpose, it's time for my pre-decimal currency two-bob's worth.
It does seem a tad illogical that biggles, who, after all, on her good days could demonstrate high perceptivity, could have been permanently banned for what was probably an alcohol-induced mistake, and yet an eternal and undeviating foul-mouthed little shit like Voodoo, who demonstrated so clearly the opposite side of the coin of the principle that people with depth of character rarely need to use bad language to express themselves, was given a second chance.

With the wisdom of hindsight, Ox, I agree with you.

Joanna, Clancy is trying to scare you so you don't attend our e-reception. Ignore him! I promise there will be no angry peasantry and no guillotines.
Well, except for the cigar cutter wedding favors
But you have to admit, they are pretty awesome.

I've already used mine a couple of times. Granted, I don't smoke, but I've made some really good chopped carrot salads.
Yum.

I can quite understand your reasoning on this. But Biggles admitted to plagiarism -albeit a friends work - but plagiarism never the less. This site cannot tolerate a hint of plagiarism but can tolerate a brat. Could we have shown a little mercy to Biggles-on most things yes; but not toward any form of outright plagiarism-a writers worst nightmare. Being an ass is quite different than being a plagiarist even though it may have been one drunken mistake...

Don't take this on the e-honeymoon, it looks VERY dangerous.

You have severely underestimated my girth.
Alan and I are in the "randomness thread" planning our e-wedding so we don't disrupt this one too much more. Come join us when you get chance!
