While some of the things said can be justified..in the end it goes against the forum rules and you can't really pussy foot around that. I just feel bad for Voodoo because I do like the kid.

I feel bad for Voodoo but he ignored all warnings to back off.

rules are there for a reason.
a victim is not just a victim if they baited others to victimize them.
i say good riddance to them not because i didnt like them, i didnt know them so i could not like or dislike them, but because it may finally get others to start obeying the rules.

I am sorry to hear it came to this, I really am. It is always a shame to see people acting like this. Either way, I am sure that the bans were for the best and I just hope that everything can not be sorted out.

Everything has been sorted out. Now, I think we can progress in a peaceful manner towards perfecting our craft and towards improving the quality of this forum. Though it may not seem like it, most all members follow the rules here. They are very lenient in comparison to some other forums. To go above and beyond and, with sufficient knowledge, break those rules, I view that as an insult to all the members here and the contract that was made when registered.
I can't speak for the entire staff, but I can speak for myself when I say that our experience can be much better here if we try to make it so. This forum is a haven for a lot of those who don't have one; it's a shame to waste that because we have a passing sorrow for an individual.

For the record: the post that was created from my account was written by GV himself.
I'm glad he's gone.

I'm new, but I'm old. How old? Nevermind, lol. I should know better than to throw my $0.02 in where it hasn't been solicited, begged or sought, but here goes...
This is a writing forum, yes? Writing is an art/skill/talent that encompasses a great many genres as well as subject matters. What some find offensive, others find amusing. Still, in the interest of a "safe" place for EveryOne to play, the rules state that we should watch our language and content. That's not to say that expletives, explicit sexual content or gore do not have a place in literature, they do, but they do not have a place in a conversational thread that is publicly accessible. When posting a story that is explicit in some way, it is marked as such by the poster, so those who do not wish to see it, aren't forced to. In the same way, explicit conversations belong in private, not open for all to see....like my kids who often come in to see Mom at work on the computer.
I know I'm not making any friends with this, but I have to say, I'm a writer. This forum is for writers. If as much energy were put into creating stories, poems and novels as has been put into this thread, y'all would have at least 10 best sellers already. Take that energy, the ideas that you are so passionate about and weave them into rich characters that will spellbind your readers. Then post those stories so we can be jealous of your mad writing skillz, lol.
Be well, have fun, and I dare you to keep me up at night with a good story.

Can I be an e-witness? I look great in or out of tafeta.
Bans? Yes, one n. I love that you're always on top
of your spelling
I hate when people don't get along. I'm sorry it had to come to this. A good, hearty debate is one thing but being nasty just isn't nice.

There's some people, including mods, on .org discussing war in retaliation for the banning of HR
|
that has been sorted out, that member has been warned and stuff i think and the posts have been deleted. all we want over there now is to forget about it all and get on with what we were doing before hand, writing.
either way, it is a shame it came to this and i am sorry to see people banned, but hopefully things can be sorted out now and everyone can get on with things.

I already prepared a seating chart for the e-reception just in case you decided to ask me.

If we're going to have a war, can we have one with the Cortina Owners' Club Forum?
