replying to critiques on your post

When I reply to critiques I have been posting replies on my original thread. I was just wondering if it is normal that it bumps the whole thread back to the top of the list.

I believe that's how it's done, usually. Don't worry about bumping the thread unless you're doing it excessively and pointlessly. A reply is a perfectly plausible reason for a bump.

Yes it is normal and gives others the opportunity to join in on a thread they might have missed or just didn't know the answer to.

than the alternative of starting new threads
