how about it? all the people such as myself who like writing comics but cant find an artist and all the artists who cant find the words would be able to pair up and create good stuff.

You could always place and 'ad' in the Writers Resources forum if you're looking for an artist, or check out deviant art (I believe they allow for the same sort of ads but don't quote me). Other than that, comic book writing would probably fall under Scripts. I don't see an art section helping WF as a whole. We are strictly a writing site.

I think it would be a good idea, and comic writing has really nothing to do with script writing, so I don't see where that connection is there.

Such a thread would also help some writers who have specific drawings to go along with their stories, comic writers, graphic novel writers and children's stories... there really isn't another place in the forum for such writers, who's adding of images would strongly bring out their writing (and no, before anyone argues, writing that needs images to go alongside does not make the writing poor to stand on it's own).

theres no online forum to combine the two - writing and art that ive ever seen unless its a website devoted to comic shorts of the humourous variety.

there should be somewhere to post potential artwork and scripts for the comics with more substance and a more adult orientation (and i dont mean japanese porn or any porn for that matter).

I'd like that. I write comics, but can never find people to draw... It would be cool. I'm for anything that can help me get my stuff drawn!
