Gender Issues!
No, I'm not trying to air out any deep-rooted issues with my gender or anyone elses', but I brought up in the first thread, about the new layout...
I've set, in my profile, for my gender to be listed when I post, but I still don't see it beside my posts, nor anyone elses'. I was assured that this would be fixed, but still the problem persists.
I'm wondering if anyone else has noticed, and if anyone else cares? It's annoying being refered to as a male because of my albeit genderless screenname.

I don't think mine shows up... I think some people read the first part of my name and think "male" automatically. It ends with 'a', people. Feminine ending.
It would be good to have that fixed.

Pppbbbhhhbttt *raspberries* Identification leads to pride and prejudice. And the only way to pull off a successful revolution is to kill all the revolutionists afterwards.
Must be som'kinda glitch?

Damn right!
Now let's just hope we stumble upon a female administrator who feels the same way, and not some macho male who'll take us as a threat to his oh-so-precious masculinity.
Back to the 70s baby! Women's liberation, all the way.

Hello?! Will you let the voices of more than half the population fall on deaf ears?
Where is my gender? Where is our recognition?!

What about my right to be identified as a male? You wouldn't believe how many people think the Leaning Bull looks feminine...

I wonder if any mods are going to respond to this thread. Or will our genders continue to be censored?
We should all just post our genders in our signatures. Maybe the staff would take the hint.

Right.
Gender: Male
Status: Enslaved in a harem
Doesn't your gender show up just in the profile display when you click a person's name and that's it? It's the same for guys and gals, I'd say.

People don't take the time to look at profiles before incorrectly assuming that they know the person's gender.

That's the sad part. People jump to conclusions. Whatever happened to look before you leap?
"Why, it's a gurl!"

I think a revamp would be nice. I'd prefer those little gender signs. Maybe at the side of your nick. It would look nicer...

I don't get what the big deal is. It's just parts. Gender is only relevant on the internet on dating sites. Elsewhere it gets in the way, just like it does outside.
