For those who are still interested.... I recieved a PM back from Admin saying that the problem would be fixed within two days. That still remains to be seen.

Appologise for the delay.. Ok, fixing this now.. basicly, I tend to let issues like this pile up on all the forums we administor and then take care of them at once.. hense the reason for the delay..

Ok, the genders are showing, but I've got mine set to 'don't show in posts' and it's still showing. I don't want to switch to private because I want it to be there for people who go looking for it, but I don't want it shown in my posts; that's why I clicked the box that says 'don't show gender in posts'. Fix it.

Ladies and Gentleman
There's no need to berate or show a lack of courtesy to the Administrator of this site. I understand we all want things done yesterday and when they are not taken care of in the time that we want them done we tend to get impatient and a little snippy. So far this administrator has done many changes for this site. He has sought out your advice and has answered and been open to your questions. He doesn't hide in a ivory tower and his goal is to make this a well run site. If he takes and requires a bit of time to do it, (being that this is not the only site he runs)I think he deserves your courtesy and patience.
This is a great writing site-and it's free-lets not lose sight of that fact...

I'm a girl!!! Well I think gender does matter... meaning girls are the most dominent creatures on this Earth. So what girl would want to be mistaken as a man. that's kinda annoying.
ps.
I'm a girl! just to remind everyone.

I'd show him/her (i'm not going to get mixed up in this gender thing. To me, it's egal) full courtesy and patience except he/she blew it with his/her comment about letting small things build up over time. If I did that with anything I had (be it a car, relationship etc.) I would be up the creek without a paddle. It's the same with a site like this. If he/she decided to deal with problems when they occured or said "hey, I can't do it right now because of a problem on another site" then, yes I would agree with you, Bob. But seeing as the case is he/she just lets problems build up, then, no, I can not (and I doubt many other people can) show any respect or patience.

I really hope everyone notices that the problem has been fixed. No use to keep yammering over it. I think everyone is taking this all too seriously.

That problem has been fixed, but there is a new, related problem. See above.

Girls are the most dominant creatures? I don't know where you got that logic, but there is no dominant sex, in the human spectrum of male versus female anyway. Albeit, sometimes in the animal kingdom, females will dominate the males (i.e. spiders, lemurs, ants) but males are also pretty dominant in animal kingdom (monkeys, tasmanian devils, sea-horses). So, there is no dominant sex really.

In all of the species that you named, each needs both the male and female. Where the female is dominant, spiders for example, that's solely because the female is greedy and eats the male so her babies will be the best suited for where they live. Ants, the males are just lazy and die after mating. As for monkeys, I don't see how the males are dominant. They defend, but the females take care of the young. There's no dominance there.
