Three pages and not one mod reply. Try PMing one of them, Speakerphone. Send them a link to this thread, maybe?
EDIT: Okay, someone just called me 'sir'. Where are the freaking mods?!

I'm sorry that no one has responded sooner as we were waiting for a reply from yusuf. He has been busy with his other sites and will try to get the gender issue squared away when he gets the software fix. Please have patience.

Rcallaci...
Thank you for the response. I suspected that this was possible, but wasn't sure. I hope all is well with the software and my 'demands' won't crash it or anything.
thanks again

It's sex.
Not gender.
Sex.
Sex = male or female.

So, it's been a week since this was posted... Not to sound pushy (*though I may anyway*), but I'm awful tired of being refered to as a male!
Any progress whatsoever? Have we gotten that email back from Yusuf?

It's obvious Johhna is female by the 'a' on the end. However it could be a raging drag queen.
I don't think what sex you are matters.
I get called dude all the time and couldn't give a flying fuck.
The interesting part is for a long time women have tried to disguise their sex
in authorship.

Not if you've taken a women's studies class.
Anyway, you could try PMing the head man yourself, if you haven't done so already.

For the sake of the sensitive ears & those who find the grouping of letters s, e, and x to be unimaginable (there are still people who do...), I chose at the time to call this thread Gender Issues. Perhaps in retrospect it might have gotten more views with Sex in the title. We are gluttons for punishment.
Thanks for the suggestion; I'd previously thought that PMing him was as though walking on hallowed ground. Whatever shall I say?[/sarcasmic wit]

"Sex Issues" would have gotten you a lot of snide remarks, true.
You can PM whomever you like. People have the option (at least they did when I signed up) to turn their PM box off. If the Admin didn't want PMs, he'd have turned it off. The staff can't do much until he responds, so maybe a few member PMs will help get his attention.

I realize. I have licked the postage stamp and it has been sent off. Perhaps he will reply quicker this way, despite my allusion to Snail Mail.
Thanks for the tips.
