In the Profile page, there is a setting for Gender. There are 3 options: Male, Female, and Private, meaning you don't want anyone to know, or perhaps you are a bit confused.

Below that, there is an option of "Show Gender in Posts"

I have clicked so that this is affirmative. Before the new layout took effect, it used to say Gender: Female under my Post count, located to the left og all my posts.

All I am asking for is to have this option restored... currently, the setting in my Profile IS Show Gender in Posts, but it doesn't appear.

You would. All you'd have ot do is activate it in your Profile, but now that doesn't work.

So what? My avatar has nothing to do with whether or not I'm a girl. Just because I like a male character enough to use for my avatar doesn't mean I'm male.

I'm just saying why are you so sensative when the picture that is suppose to represent you is male. Seems like a double standard. Besides we are online how do I know you aren't a guy?

I like the character. Doesn't mean I want to be him. The whole point of this thread is that we want our genders displayed so you will know I'm not a dude, without assuming I am because of my avatar.

I care, and it matters because I was told the situation would be remedied!

It's not as if I'm asking for the world here, just for one simple control to be returned to how it used to be before the new program upgrade.

Here, I've even gone to dig it up for you:

Is this fixable, in some way?

I've changed my avatar. Genderless. Now no one will know if I'm a guy or a girl.

Hello? Mods? Working on this yet?

Jay Kay, I just checked out your Profile. What comes up, in terms of Gender Revelations is this:

Display Gender: Yes.

What an oxymoron. It doesn't even show it!
