Erotica vs. Adult themes?

Where is the line drawn? I submitted a piece that included references to sex although it was not extremely explicit. At the time that I agreed to the TOU, I thought that erotica was pornographic and certainly am not interested in writing porn. But now I am questioning myself after reading a thread here about a removed story.

Please check my submission and remove it quickly if it breaks the rules. It's in the criticism section.

i've read it. it's not that in-your-face. i've not read anything like that before but i wasn't shocked or stunned.

maybe there are no taboos left.
maybe i'm just desensitised.

I don't think you've included anything that isn't adequately covered by your 'adult content' disclaimer.

Then again, I am not a forum god. If they weigh in, you'll know.

just to put the fear of god (the moderators) in you. lol

mind you most of the moderators here seem nice and quite tolerant. not like some forums where you get the thread deleted and banned for swearing.

i mean anyone reading this isn't going to be an impressionible kid. i know there are people young as 14 maybe but they have to be pretty mature to come here in any serious context.

Your disclaimer is enough. Your story was well written and done in good taste. I see no need to delete this interesting work... No rules were broken; as a matter of fact your story is an excellent example of threading the appropriate line..

... a reasonable reply, in 5 hours, that ends with "my warmest" -- apparently the writing forum gods are unaware of the new god standards mandate from Global Hide & Seek, Ltd., Inc.-a-dink.
