Problems with firefox in the forums
I am not sure if anyone else is having this problem, but when I try and reply to a post, when the page loads, the text box you type your reply into sometimes takes a very long time before it will accept user input. Sometimes it won't let me at all (I've had to reload the page twice to post this message).
Is anyone else having a similar problem?

I occasionally have this problem yes, but I put this down to using firefox Gran Paradiso Alpha 1, which is quite obviouslly bugged in places. You should search google for fixes, as I'm unaware of any permanent ones besides cutting the contents of teh text box, going back, and then retrying, pasting it in again.
Which version of ff are you using?
Report it to them, google for their site and search for a feedback form, they're open source as you know and they'll get onto any problem pretty damn fast!

Thanks. I am using Firefox 2.0 at the moment, and I have haven't had this problem with any other site, which made me think it might be something specific to writersforums. I will see about submitting a bug request to the FireFox team. Who knows, perhaps other people on other forums are having a similar difficulty.

I am using Firefox 2.0 as well, but there is nothing wrong with the Quick Reply box - loads fast/with the page.

Sometimes the site gets pretty high traffic and slows down. It's not a problem with Firefox 2.0, which I've had no problems with.
