What happened? New owner?

If I had an explanation I would give it to you. As soon as I know I promise to update you all.

I'm just glad to see you back.
There are some really crappy sites out there.

The shaking has stopped. The vomitting has lessened.

lol, I never hit the reload button more times than in the last few days. I positively molested that button.
My name is thickwig, and I am a button molester.

*indulges in more buttons to type...nothing - can't repeatedly jab the backspace now (can't have favouritism raise its ugly head), better to just hit one more button, one more time........sigh*

Like the rest of you, I suffered a severe withdrawl period from WF, so I contacted what I found to be the owner; here is our conversation:
Me:
Hello, I am a member of www.writingforums.com and I have not been able to access the site for the past week or so. I found your contact info related as being the owner of the site and was wondering if you knew what the problem was or if the site has been temporarily shut down. If so, when will it be back?
Them:
Well, we ran out of money. It cost a lot to run the site, and we haven't been able to pay the hosting for a couple months, now the host shut down the server. We hope to get it back online soon. Thanks for caring.
