Form Glitching... Help!
Not sure where else this would go, I guess this is the right spot.
When I load the initital site, or once I get it, and click a forum, or a post, or anything... I only get a completely olive green background with nothing on it. It is only a solid block of color on my screen.
It only goes away after I refresh, and it doesn't only take one refresh, it can take me hitting F5 up to 10 times before it actually loads the page. This happens, like I already said, no matter what part of the forum I trying to access.
I am on a fast connection, and this is the only site, including other forums that does this to me.
I am missing out on my reading and editing because of this. =(
Help please.
~Dave

Not a time issue here... can wait all day with nothing... need to refresh constantly. If you have the same issue, then perhaps it is a generic forum issue and nothin on our parts... not sure if that is better or not... lol

Happening here too. It's not a matter of your computer or net speed, cause I've tried on both my laptop and work computers and same problem.

Its been happening to me too, come to think of it. I just assumed it was because I'm pirating a very weak signal on my laptop. But if its happening to everyone else...

It seems to be a site issue, along with some others as of late. I'll try to see what the deal is.

My problem was a bit different.
No green screen at all.
Rather, a small blurb on a white screen indicating that the data base was experiencing technical difficulties, and an automatic e-mail was dispensed to the Technical staff.
This is the first time (12:00 or so) I've been able to get in since I began trying this morning at about 6:30.
Even now, I will post a message, I'll get that blurb.
I have to press the "back" key to remain in the forum.
Looks like they're still working on the problem as I write!

Just messin' around...I got the log-off thing, too.
Some messages will post...but, if you go to advance, then post...you get that "technical difficulties" page.
Then I "back-arrow" and everything I added in advance shows up.
Won't let me do my smilies...

Hmm looks like its having trouble.
I have been getting the olive-color-block problem for the longest time, and usually I don't need to refresh, the page is just taking a while to load (I'm on a high speed connection, too...)
Only lately have I needed to refresh. Maybe its the server?
Alice

I believe the slowness issue has something to do with the newest google ads (that isn't official, just my opinion).
The problems today, I've been getting the database error messages as well as being logged off at random intervals (or whenever trying to post, this is my third try at this one). Hopefully admin will be able to get things fixed and back to normal.
EDIT: Fourth try now. I had been using Quick Reply, trying the regular reply this time.
