Stats?
Alright, I know someone asked this before, but I believe it was a loooong time ago, so I'm going to break my own rule about hunting before posting.
Do we not get a stats page (thread with most views, thread with most posts, or top ten lists of thread categories) with this setup?
I'm a numbers and stats woman. I liked the stats page. Do we not have it or have I just not looked hard enough?

I liked the stats page too. Always something interesting to see. Anyway, I believe we lost that when we switched to VB.

What point would there be in publishing stats? The 'most popular' threads are generally the ones that go off-topic and descend into flaming. The people with the most posts aren't always the ones with something interesting to say.
Are you a writer or an accountant? Do you want to play the game, or keep score?

Because they were fun to look at. Quit being a crotchety old fun-sucker, Mike
Several people have asked for its return since the switch. I'll pass the thread onto Peter and we'll see if it makes a come back.

Hm. I'm a writer who fancies accounting and also just happens to have a high post count.
Thanks, valeca.

A stats page would be cool. It would be nice to know something like what is the average words per post of a person so you'd know who as a high post count because of detailed feedback and who has a high post count because of random one liners.

I don't think that would be such a good thing. The one liner guys would more often than not be dismissed. Also more doesn't necessarily mean better, more often than not it proves a person can waffle on and on.

Waffle on and on? I must say, I have not the slightest bit of a shadow of an idea as to what you mean by the silly, and totally false, not to mention untrue statement. Nobody on this wonderful website of truly epic quality would ever use an unduly large, or excessive amount of words to say something simple, that could have been said with less words, or characters, or whatever you may use to keep track of such things. Indeed, nobody would ever even consider the notion of such an outrageous action.
